So, after dicking around with my clutch fork ballstud for about 3 hours in the last 2 weeks, I'm about at the end of my f'ing rope. I've been using an 8mm wrench on the square end, and I only have enough room for 1/8 turn. That means I have to flip the wrench and turn 8 damn times to make a full rotation. That makes, like, a zillion turns with my left hand while standing on my head and getting gravel in my ear.
I desperately need a tool that will allow me to ratchet it. I haven't been able to jam any of my sockets on, either 6-point or 12-point. Neither have my 12-point ratchet wrenches been any help. I went to two different chain auto stores and asked if they had anything that could ratchet a square head. The kids working at both places, of course, handed me an allen wrench socket. Damnit, why is the world full of morons?
Anyway, anybody have a suggestion? I've thought about those infomercial type sockets that have multiple rods inside, but I'm a little doubtful that they work anywhere close to as advertised.
