So, anybody know if it would be standard or metric? This #@$! car is half and half, so you never know. The ballstud, of course, won't come out. It took me like 45 minutes of 1/8 turns with my left hand standing on my head to find that out. Great. Turn, flip the wrench, turn, etc. And, just to be extra helpful, it's square, so I can't use a ratcheting wrench on it.
Anyway, I put some wrenches on it. A 12mm fits pretty well around the threads. A 7/16 will almost fit. I'm not sure if thread measurements are to the outside of the thread or the inside. Maybe Wiki will help on that, but I doubt it. I do know that they are both common nut sizes, so I'll probably buy a 12x1.5, 12x1.25, 7/16/24, and 7/16x32 nut and see what fits.
