I honestly do not know for sure, I do not currently have a tach running on the car. All I know is when it gets too noisy, I shift lol. That sounds about right for the stock cam though, it was meant to run best in the low-end and mid-end ranges whereas most of the performance cams out there, pull best when the rpms are high.
