I did the brake upgrade on my front brakes (84 brakes on an 81 car) and the back brakes lock up if I brake just a little hard or if the pavement is a little slick or if I'm on gravel, causing dangerous skidding. I left the master cylinder and proportioning valve the same.
Do I need a new master cylinder and/or proportioning valve? What else did I need to do (besides put on the newer calipers and new brake lines)?
