I really wanted RWD, which basically meant I had to go to FORD and Crown Vic,but mileage is terrible, only 23 /28 mpg . So, I fell into an Impala 9c3. No, its not RWD, but this one has no torque steer and mileage is actually very good, @27 in town, 40 on hiway.To be honest not far off Gorts numbers.In Victoria stop and go is mostly stop, so mileage figures are not as high as one would expect. My reason for a car change is that I have a nagging return of a rugby injury from long long ago in another century and getting in/out of Gort is becoming problematic.(Big guy,small car syndrome).For the last few years I have driven only @5000km a year anyway.
