So I went and picked up two chevettes as a package deal today, I found them in the middle of a forest a while ago . I was really into one because it's a 5 speed 2 door with a pretty intact interior AND a 5-SPEED. So I went and made the thing run. The oil looked like cured mollasses and when dragged back to life had a noticeable KNOCK on the bottom end. It still got driven home to the sheer surprise of the previous owner. I was going to drive it and then sell it, but am now probably going to strip the interior and the immaculate 5-speed w/ new clutch.
So I am putting it out here that I have a rust free 86 red 2 door rolling chassis sans interior for sale with clear title. Perfect for drag or race car or street. I am in Victoria BC, CANADA
As far west as you can get. I cant really hold on to this car very long as I am tight on space.200$ OBO by (sunday?)then it'll either be scrapped or dissected and stored in my basement on a part priority basis. Needs a driver's swing out window.
