I am searching for a James Alston born in Virginia ca 1802 and died in Hertford Co. NC ca 1850s. His mother may have been Ann or Anna and he may have had a brother Abner. His 2nd wife was Elizabeth Jane Lawrence of Bertie Co. NC. Would like to know his pedigree.
