My grandfather, Herbert Ridley Thompson's mother,Francis, was a Southampton Co. Ridley,-.
We're African American.
Francis' father was Nat Ridley, and her mother was Louisa (surname may have been Blount).
There are also Peet in the family tree from Southampton Co. Most from Boykins, Southampton Co. VA.
