Two brothers from Petersburg, VA, Edmund and James Golder, joined the Army to fight in the War of 1812. James was killed in Maryland. Edmund was discharged medically. He claimed his brother's bounty land in Arkansas in 1820. I would like to work with anyone else researching this family. I believe their father was John Golder, an overseer, in Petersburg, VA.
