Would anyone have any idea why a young woman, Vegolia Dise McLeese, would go to Peterburg to give birth during the month of June in 1905. Vegolia is my g.grandmother and it has been said my grandfather Alfred McLeese was not born on Tangier Island, but in Petersburgh. It is also said that Vegolia's mother Margaret was from down James River way. How could I find out more about Vegolia's Peterburg roots?
