Thomas Pearce came to the colony of Virginia from England or Wales at the age of 18. He fought with the colonists in the French and Indian Wars and settled near Petersburg. He had 2 sons, John Pearce was born in 1753, married and had a large family and was a soldier in the American Revolution. Tom's other son other son was also named Tom and never married. Thomas Pearce, Sr. is the one I am interested in. I am a descendant of his son John Pearce who was born in 1753.
