Not to dispute you in your findings or confuse anyone, but I had previously sent Mr. Whitaker an e-mail some time ago where I had found reference to "New Petersburg." My source is this book: "Petersburg's Story A History
by James G. Scott and Edward A. Wyatt, IV Page 34 Chapter: A Greater Petersburg
"...The town, which had an area of 1.98 square miles, consisted of seven clearly defined sections: Old Blandford, New Blandford, Old Petersburg, New Petersburg,Ravenscroft,
Pocahontas, and Bollingbrook..."
