Have you found anymore information about Jensey Snow? I am looking for more information also. She was the slave of Benjamin Harrison May of Petersburg, Va. Benj. May was a Doctor. Jensey's name at that time was Jane Minor. Dr. May freed her 1824, 1825 for nursing services to the people of Petersburg. I have in the census found the names, Jensey Minor, Jane M. Snow in different years, Same person? Jensey's daughter was supposed to have married Joseph Jenkins Roberts. Hope this helps and you can help fill in gaps for me. thanks.
