Armstrong Blick was one of two sons of George Blick who died in 1838 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. His brother was Andrew J. Blick who married Lucy Conway. There was possibly a sister named Clarissa but no one is sure if she is George's wife, sister-in-law, or daughter.
Armstrong was born in 1812 and married Elizabeth A.R. - the R we think is Ragland. They had 4 children - Mary born June 2, 1846 and died two month later (she's buried at Blandsford Cemetery in Petersburg); Jaspar W (1853); Nutin (1858) and Betty (1860)
George did not leave a will so all we have is the inventory and papers from the Estate Sale. The boys are named in the bill of sale as is Clarissa.
I am the ggggranddaughter of Joshua Blick. Because Dinwiddie was a burnt courthouse official records are nearly impossible to get but I believe that George was Joshua's brother or cousin.
