Late 18th and early 19th century Petersburg had many Scottish immigrants. Was there any pattern to their arrival ports? For our family history, I am desperately seeking anything that could help explain how my husband's gt-gt-grandmother Elizabeth Grant (Cameron) Cruickshank with her six Cameron children & second husband came from Scotland to Petersburg in 1841, but without at least an arrival port I've hit a brick wall. Any ideas gratefully appreciated. Please email me at MABCam@aol.com. Thanks --
