I believe that your not aloowed to hit the kicker at all (providing he gets his foot down in a "natural" motion)
Last year, my kicker got blasted, and I blew up the ref. He told he that the kicker hopped forward after his plant foot landed. I called him numerous names, but when I looked at the film, he was right.
MY kicker swung his kicking foot, landed on his plant foot (why do kickers hop), and then hopped TWO steps forward into the defender.
IS there a WRITTEN rule on this? I cannot seem to find one...
