The Flag Football Challenge Series is happy to present the 3rd Annual TFFCS Ocean City Challenge on April 26-27, 2008 in Ocean City, MD. This year we will be hosting 9-man Ineligible and 7-man Screen tournaments. Teams will receive USFTL points for participating in the 9-man bracket. Location: Northside Park, 125th Street, Bayside.
Styles: 9-man Ineligible, played under the Flag Football Challenge Series rules. Please go to theflagfootballchallengeseries.com for more information. Highlights: 4 12-minute quarters, no kicks for 2 points.
Tournament setup:
Pool play on Saturday (2 games), single elimination on Sunday. Teams are guaranteed 3 games.
9-man: 3 referees for all games on Saturday, 4 for most games on Sunday. A and B brackets will split for Sunday's single elimination. Go to www.theflagfootballchallengeseries.com for more details.
7-man: 3 referees for all games.
Entry fee:
Early entry by midnight, April 11th:
9-man: $495. 7-man screen: $350.
Final entry by midnight, April 21st:
9-man: $575. 7-man: $385.
No late entries will be accepted. Only 20 spots are available for the 9-man tournament. If your entry fee is not in hand on the 21st, you will not be playing. Team withdrawals will not be refunded. Entry fees (money orders please, too many bounced checks) should be sent to

Prizes:
9-man: Bid to Orlando (based on USFTL rules) with 8 teams participating. Travel stipend added if more than 10 teams. Prize for 2nd place if twelve or more teams participate. Prize for 3rd and 4th place with 14 teams or more.
7-man: $350 with 10 teams participating.
Host Hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express again this year. They are sending me the prices for this year, and I will post that as soon as I get them. I do know the discounted prices will be available until April 11th (2 weeks before the tournament), and we've blocked 70 rooms off.
