First, I've added a page to the www.theflagfootballchallengeseries.com website. Click on Supporting the Teams, and it tells you the basics to raising money so your team can go more places. I've included a few fundraisers we've used, and a basic letter template to give to a sponsor. My team has been able to pick up two sponsors this year for $2000 each, which makes travelling a lot easier. I hope it works as well for you.
Here is the team update for the Ocean City Fall Flag Football Challenge. The starred teams are in, while the other teams have expressed interest. If your team is interested, please contact me ASAP. If your team is not coming, please let me know so I can give the most accurate list as teams call in.
8man: *All-Met, *HUH, *Weekend Warriors, *North County AllStars, Elite, DC Dolphins, Brothers AC, USTC Warriors
7man Screen: *Duffy's, Carnage (I'm calling Delaware teams today!)
4man: *Duffy's, *D4, *Untouchables, Underdawgs, Raleigh Thunder
5man: *Duffy's, HUH, Judah
If we have at least 6 teams in each, I will split any style into A and B. However, I also need at least 6 teams for there to be a tournament in that style, and more than that for the larger prize pools. Basically, guys, I need your help getting the word out, so please forward this along.

Ist Annual Ocean City Fall Flag Football Challenge
Northside Park, 125th and Bayside, Ocean City MD
October 3-4, 2009
Early registration accepted until midnight, September 19.
Registration closes at midnight, September 28.
Registration Fees:
8man eligible: $495 before September 19, $575 until September 28.
7man: $350 before September 19, $400 until September 28.
4-man and 5-man: $225 before September 19, $260 until September 28.
($25 discount for 7-man and 8-man teams to play 4 or 5 man also!)
First 19 teams in 8-man eligible to pay will play!
All teams advance to Sunday in 7-man and 8-man!
Pool play on Saturday, Single Elimination on Sunday in 7-man and 8-man.
Double elimination in 4-man (Saturday) and 5-man (Sunday).
Seeding for pool play will include USFTL, MCFFU and independent tournament and league results.
A and B brackets offered in 8-man Eligible and 4-man (with at least 6 teams in each division).

Cash prize and bid to USFTL Orlando to 8-man A champion, with 10 teams participating.
Prizes to 2nd and 3rd with 14 teams.
Tournament t-shirts to winners of 4-man, 5-man and 7-man tournaments.
