I think the warning you received was about not leaving your dolls in direct (harsh) sunlight for prolonged periods of time. (For example don't display them near a very sunny window all the time. I'd say don't leave them under even harsh artificial light either. Over time, it
could affect the vinyl.) ) Changes from sunlight are more likely to happen to resin dolls. Those you must be much more careful with. I have had all my vinyl dolls, including my repaints, in sunlight and nary a problem. You will find the best days to photograph them are the cloudy days. Direct sunlight can wash them out in photos, so use shade if it's really sunny. (Sometimes I photograph under my umbrella on my patio table if it's very bright out.) I've even been known to venture out in the snow for a good photo, but it has been far too cold for me this year. I'd be shaking so much from the cold, I am sure my pics would be blurry!
