Excellent post my friend. I too want to detect in England and one day I will. Just have to retire and get a letter from my Mum giving me permission lol. Sadly a few of the photos didn't open for me. I think it was the last three in Part 1 and about the first five in Part 2. But that sure didn't stop me enjoying a great story. I believe you will soon be suffering 'cabin fever' in your part of the world. Here in Oz I can detect all year round which is a bonus. If I don't get out at least once or twice a fortnight I go through detecting withdrawal so I think I'd go mad if I couldn't swing the coil. Leslie many thanks for a great read. All the best, Pete
