Sorry if this maybe a question for an older topic but sometimes a fire is sparked and question run rampid. Okay, nobody really cares to talk about color, espicially blue, because some may believe that because you ask a question you are out to breed for color only. However, i'm not a breeder and i'm going to ask my questions regardless and it odesn't really apply to blue alone but every color. Q: Who has the greatest chance of producing the color, the male or female? Meaning, if your female has the coat you desire, what are the odds that she will dupilcate that. Same goes for the male. If he has the coat, then what are the odds he will throw that to his offspring. FYI: Before you ask me, the answer is NO. Color should never take priority over health, tempermant and so forth. That answer goes the question that i am sure someone will ask: are you wanting to breed for specific color?
