It is hard to tell from the photos but there is a huge differance between the pups. The male has a very "onion" type head and my first concern was hydrocephalus due to the shape of his head and the wide set eyes. My vet did an exam and we concluded to just watch him, so far he shown normal development. I chose not to have an x-ray done but if he shows any symptoms I will take him back in to confirm it or not, usually you will know by 7 weeks at the latest.
The female is just huge - if you look at her joints you can see that she will carry a huge amount of bone as an adult. She will definately be a larger female than I like, if fact, I thought of you and your quest for large when she was born.
