You can NOT register a non AKC dog as a AKC dog. That's the heart of the problem. The AKC is a closed registry. You can not add any new blood to your lines and call it anything but a mutt. If you want an AKC dog, both parents must be AKC dogs from the exact same breed you're saying the pups are. NO mixing 2 different AKC breeds either. At this point, most AKC breeds are very inbred and thus all the health issues.
