I was honored to judge a Continental Bulldog show in Germany a few weeks ago and got to spend sometime with the breed creator. She is getting close to FCI recognition and has 8 unrelated lines going.
Their breeding selection was amazing. There are 3 separate examination sheets; vet, temperament and conformation. One sheet records all of the dog's measurements which creates an interesting tool to see how traits are passed from one generation to another. I will post a translation when I get it, for you to see. This is the way old school European breeders do things (horses too).
