Brian I think they should. It irritates the piss out of me to see someone who has absolutely no regard what they use to breed, as long as they have puppies. People that dont know the first think about dogs, raising puppies or the care that puppies need. I personally know some folks that have two AKC Akitas so like Linda said there breeding quality right.lol This dog had her pups, they had no idea what to do, the parents neither one were utd on shots or had been wormed, they didnt vaccinate the puppies, until I said I would do there shots for them because they couldnt afford them (I only did there 6wk shots) they kept one of the pups, she has only had one set of shots and none of the pups were ever wormed, never vet checked and they wanted $500 a piece for the pups!!! (They knew what the pups needed because I told them several times but they didnt do any of it) How can they even justify this? Sorry for jumping on my soapbox but this kind of crap seriously irritates me. So many people dont have breeding standards, I think the dog should meet the breed standard you are trying to achive (No coat colors included) and have few flaws and I think when using this dog you have to look at what you are using it with to get the best outcome and consider the flaws that are possible, With the pure intent of creating something better, but so many people think any two dogs go together.
