What's going on in the next door neighboring barrio-hood.
At a gas service station a caller said a homeless man outside the store was yelling at people and acting like a crazy person. Some people stopped for gas but when they saw the crazy man they left without getting out of their cars. The man refused to leave and kept on yelling and acting crazy. When deputies arrived, they arrested the man for disturbing the peace and took him to jail. The homeless man comments were, now I have a place to eat, sleep and an overnight stay.
Police received a call that several people were camping in the tennis courts at the barrio park. The caller said they had a fire pit going in the courts. When deputies arrived, they were heating up can food and boiling water with chicken bones.
Hit and run:
A white car hit a pole at the intersection in the south part of the barrio. An 20 year old male was taken into custody, has been cited and released. The suspect is scheduled to appear in two weeks in the barrio police department court.
Another call was reported that the suspect of the hit and run incident was an elderly woman in a red sedan. The caller said they thought the woman who hit them needs to be checked on before letting her go. Just after the incident the woman acted strange or funny
The caller reported that four men described as homeless were fighting near the bus stop. The fighting was about who would get into the bus first. One said, I will get in first because I am older the rest of you. The other one said, I will get in first because I get off on the next bus stop. The other one said, I was here first so I get to get in first. The other one said, I get in first because I have been homeless more time then the rest of you. My family kicked me out of the house when I was 13 years old, because I wouldn't take out the trash can daily.
A drunken man was asked to leave and would not. The man was laying on the sidewalk by donut shop. His dog kept barking when people came up to him to go around him. Even thou the barking, the man was sound asleep.
A woman called the police to inform them that her neighbor were using her trash cans. She said that her trash cans were full but her neighbor kept on piling up more trash. Trash was all over and on the ground and she was not about picking it up.
A woman reported that a man took her bag at the barrio park and now she is chasing the man down the street trying to catch up to him. The woman cell phone went dead, so she lost communication with the police.
A caller reported that someone was trying to break in her apartment room. When deputies arrived they discovered that her roommate was fired from his job and came back home.
A caller reported that people were jumping off a walk bridge that is no longer in use and off limits.
A woman reported that her boyfriend took her ID and her money and left her stranded at the south end of the barrio park. Then later her boyfriend call the police that his girlfriend attack him with a knife at liquor store.
