What's happening this week in the barrio.
A man told police that his neighbor told him, "shut up or I'll kick your a$$ at a barrio meeting held the day before. The man said he wasn't too much concerned, but he just wanted the issue to be documented in case something really bad happens in the future. Both men have had it before but someone always butts-in and stops the argument before it get ugly.
A caller reported hearing several subjects being loud and punching something. The caller suspected that a fight may have broken out near the garages behind his home. A patrol check was conducted and police discovered the noise was actually kids play soccer in the garage. The kids told the police that they need a barrio park big enough to play soccer on their spare time. The kids invented a soccer game that whoever it is hit by the ball, that hit scores a point and this game is play inside a garage with closed doors.
Assist outside agency:
A woman reportedly drank dish soap and was also possibly on drugs. The woman was saying bad words to her boyfriend, so her boyfriend told her that she ought to wash her mouth with soap. Being that she was on drugs and not knowing any better and that's what she did. The boyfriend left before the police came to investigate. The barrio police found the woman laying on the floor and trying to call someone on her cell phone for help.
A patrol check was requested for a strong odor, possibly from a controlled substance, coming from the trailer next to the caller's home. The caller said the neighbor was also being extremely loud and was acting kind of strange. The caller said that she heard from other people that the neighbor had just lost his job and was asking them food for his dog.
A man reported a beeping alarm that was making a loud sound coming from a plastic bag which had been placed in a nearby trash dumpster. Nobody knows who put it there. But, they did see Someone in a bicycle rode thru the back ally an hour ago.
A caller reported hearing yelling while he was approaching the fourth hole at the golf course. The caller said the yelling seemed to be like he was in pain or needed help. Then, he saw the man laying on the grass covering his left eye The man said that he was hit by a golf ball while he was looking for his lost ball. His eye was popped out and hanging while he was trying to put it back in his eye socket. The caller then fainted and thou couldn't call 9-9-9-1-1-1 for help.
