A caller said loud screams were heard and then a man, possibly with mental issues, was seen walking towards the creek. The man who was seen stopped by police and searched, but there was nothing suspicious about him. A similar caller was reported minutes earlier. This shows that the barrio hood is neighborly-Watched protection.
Police observed a known parolee with a V.V. gang member. When the two saw the police vehicle, they ran into one of the gang member's homes. The two subjects were detained and searched. Police found one of them was in possession of methamphetamine. The other man, a 31 year old landscaper, was arrested in the incident and booked into the barrio men's jail.
