A possibly drunken subject on a skate-board was carrying a large pink bag and going through trash cans. Maybe homeless looking for food or what else he could find.
A caller reported a woman sleeping in a white SUV with out-of-state lic plates. The call told police that the woman has been seen in the area for several months and was parked at a city park before recently switching to sleep on the street near the caller's home.
Another woman reported that she has been in an accident in the south side Barrio earlier in the day and the other party tried to offering her cash for the damage, which she refused at the time. The subject then showed up at her residence with another man who he said was the subject's private investigator. The two men were trying to get the woman to take cash instead of turning it over to the police.
A partrol check was reported for a man driving a gray or silver car that had paper covering the lic plates. The man was seen driving around the housing complex casing garages.
A man parked his vehicle too close to the breakwater and was fishing in a protected marine area. The man is unemployed and was fishing food for his 9 children who are now hungry. The harbor patrolman gave the man $100 dollars for him to buy food for his family.
A patrol check was requested for a subject sleeping on a tan sleeping bag by the tables on the north side of the park. He said he was kick out of the house for not having enough money to pay his rent.
A patrol check was requested for a blue van with out-of-state driving southbound on city street and swevering all over the road. The car hit the curb several tines, had frontal damage and had hazard lights on.
A patrol check was reported for a 18 to 19 years old man was lying down and talking on the phone in the middle of the intersection.
The man acted like he was directing traffic with hands and pointing to traffic to turn right instead.
A patrol check was reported for a tree that fell onto the power lines near a residence, cause by strong wind from last night.
Traffic signal lights fell completely off on the street.
A caller from the a hotel reported a large palm tree fallen down over the railrod tracks.
A call reported a nail in one of the tires of thier white car. The caller said it was the third time a nail had been found in a tire and suspected someone was putting them there on purpose.
We will call him the nail-tire bandit. Any information leading to the nail-tire bandit please, call the auto-ree-thy. And the police advice to keep all your nails in a safe place.
A male transient was refusing to leave the beach and his response was, nobody owns the beach. So, I am staying.
A man at a Bar and grill called police saying he asked a woman to quiet down and was now being threatened by the woman and her boyfriend.
A man was standing in front of a music school and refusing to leave. The man heard repeating everything the caller said.
Keep the peace:
A woman told police her homeowners association had planned a sidewalk going through her backyard. She said she had a court date the next day for a restraining order to have stop building it.
Her neighbor suggested, let them buid it and charge a $1.00 for each one who goes through your backyard and charge the association $100 per month for the permitting the sidewalk being built.
A man at a baseball field said he saw three male transients smoking at the park and getting ready to camp-out. Police arrested a 40 years old unemployed man, who is being held on a large amount dollars bail at the men's jail.
A caller reported a motorhome was parked in the corner of a street and near a laundramat for ar least three days. The caller was concerned because a man covered in tatoos, who was living in the motorhome with a 4 years old girl seemed to be illigal substances.
A man founf a dog and returned it to it's home address. The caller opened the front door and put th dog inside. He told police that another dog was inside the house, but no one answered the door and he was concerned for the homeowner, whoever he was.
A caller wanted to make a police report about a neighbor cuttimg down the caller's plants. Find out that they were marijuana plants. The marijuana plant bandit was never caught. He is still on the loose.
Keep the peace:
A man driving a blue car said his 16 years old son was high on marijuana, refusing to go to school and walking away from the car. The son was put in jail and the father was attending classes in school for parenting classes.
A potentially drunk driver in a silver SUB was seen pulling into a bar and grill parking lot, getting out of his vehicle and stumbling. The drunker would take three steps forward and 2 steps backward. Finally he reach the bar and grill front door and hold on to it, trying to open it. Someone coming out, swing the door open and knocked the drunker on his back on the sidewalk.
Two BMWs were seen racing each other towards the freeway.
Assist outside agency:
A psserby told police that a road sign was about to fall down. Public works was enroute and requesting police standby until they made it to the scene.
