Hey hey hey, and heaveno raza. Well it’s Friday again and time to think about those bills. Pay day is something else raza. Most of the time that check is already gone with the wind and if you get paid once a month it’s hell. Well not really hell but you must have some kind of disciple. In which I don’t.
Ok some good news for our stock market. Can you believe que esta web page has listed our stock market on their site. Hejolia raza we are moving right on up . I am not really sure what but it shows que there is someone always watching you.
Now for our barrio stock market report:
Our prices and estimates are based on our local hood and information we are able to gather from those that really care. If for some reason when you get there and the price has changed, well that is too darn bad, should have got there earlier.
Los taquitos:
Wow we found a great place in the hood a few weeks ago. There special is something you big town folks know about, 2 tacos and a cup of coffee for $2.25. which really ain’t that bad. But we are firm believes que if you were to wake up a bit earlier you could make your tortillas, cook that egg and so on. Yes you will leave that home of your smell like that restaurant you hate to go too. But would save some money.
We got a very interesting email the other day and asked us which taquitos are we talking about? Well vato we are talking in general dude. Taquitos come in many different kinds. Well to that vato who wants to learn something, Taquitos ended the week at $1.29 coffee is extra.
Las empanadas:
Local community gardens are real scared nowadays due to the fact que it hasn’t rain. They feel que the local chain stores and hood stores might go and start buying there fruits and stuff from those big ass growers. One vato we know, who like to grow pineapples said que we need rain now, at least two inches. Poor guy he doesn’t know que pineapples grow on trees. We can estimate the price of las empanadas will go up in the real near future. And never will we ever see them at four for a dollar like the old days. So keep your eyes on this market raza its going to cost you and me. Las empanadas going at $.89 cent each.
Los tamales:
That guy that comes around has not being around for a few weeks now. Since its getting hotter and days are longer it might seem que its just to hot to sit in the kitchen and make those darn tamales. Tamales have remain stable for this month and we can estimate que the will remain at the going price of $6.00 a dozen. Since el cinco de mayo already passed and sept 16 is just around the corner it is very possible que the price will take a jump up. A few pointers one should know. A gringo company has started selling tamales in a can, which by the way is nothing new. The real question is how in the world do they get tamale in the can?
Furthermore, we feel que this new trend might just make latino company follow suit. The days of fresh tamales might just be over, not. As long as we have raza in the hood and raza loves their holidays, we will continue to make them at home. Not like the tamale war of 1997, raza we have nothing to worry about.
Just invite la commadre y su commadres y a few cases of beer y ponlay dude…reminds me of the time we lived in beaver dam Wisconsin and we started to make tamales y drink beer also. Pese you can imagine what happen, si compay, they started out looking like tamales but after that third cases of beer , chinga they for some reason or another got smaller,and smaller and smaller. And to top it off we ate them all that night y Christmas pese , where is that can. Tamales will end the week at $5.00 a dozen.
La barbacoa de cabeza:
La barbacoa de cabeza is still struggling to make it back at the prices they were a few weeks ago. If you have been following this market, los pincha fathers and mothers have been trying to ban the selling of cadeza de beef here in the county. The sad part is que los fathers y los mothers are both gringos and lations y blacks. What is wrong con esta gente. What is the issue you say, its that darn MAD COW DISEASE. Has everybody and anybody who is somebody bother by all this. Look like we wrote a few weeks ago, it only effects gringos. Ok .ok. the pound of barbacoa stable at $5.50 .
Las tortillas:
Well let’s hope que no body comes up with tortillas in a can …lol.. ok las tortilla market has been really busy. I saw a guy this past week at a small hood restaurant making tortillas as you ordered your food, I love to make tortillas, but the only problem is que they come out looking like airplanes and not quite round. Let’s get to business, Las tortillas companies in the hood had a rude awaking this past weekend. The health department fined seven tortillas companys’ for a whole bunch of violations. Hejolia, esto vatos. Second, for some reason or another corn tortillas sells have been on a raise. Have you ever seen how these guys soften the corn to make this corn tortillas? Well they pour all this sacks of corn inside this swimming pool and soak them for awhile and than, well you know the rest of the story.
Cheap beer:
Wow we found a beer I used to drink when I lived in mexico called Modelo, it’s a super light beer and not too bad. The sad part was que it’s a bit more caro and we just don’t have that extra change. Cheap beer going at $3.65 a six pack.
Oh yes we do have an extra bit of information for you, el primo y la prima will be released and back in the home and back in business. That long long county jail vacation of six months they both had taught them a lesson or two. Well as a matter of fact says el primo que he knows more contact que never before.
