Barrio stock market report for 10102008.

Kingsville, TX. Once again I am urbano yosabatodo con this week’s award winning barrio headline news. Well it’s official that our barrio leaders and those guys from across the tracks have agreed to bailout the following business:
Chuys toy’s shop for the elders.
Betty’s moose house of plants.
Big John and Little John home repairs.
Tangos auto repair and paint shop.
The county leaders have not submitted their recommendation for who they are going to bail out. But for now lets get to our award winning barrio stock market report:
>Los taquitos up ten cents from last week, ended the week at $1.75 each coffee is extra. The sky is the limit.
>Los tamales are on a steady increase, which we noticed a few weeks ago, ended the week at $6.50 a dozen. But predicted to go up by the end of November.
>Las tortillas, also were up this week with an increase of at least 25 percent from last week, ended the week at $1.65 a pack of twelve and corn tortillas at $1.35 for a small pack. Yet it seems que las tortillas will be going up and up and up.

And off course, the price of pound of beans and rice remain stable.
Anyhow raza bee cool, stay calm, we have weathered this storm every freaking day for those that live from pay check to pay check. And those that don’t have a pay check, dang.
Counting down towards tejano roots, it really could be our year.
