Hi Megan,
I've finally, after more than 20 years,started skipping "Gangster High School".Most of the time I don't even bother taping it. I really don't like the majority of the new characters/actors/actresses. The new Carly and the other broad, the "ex-FBI", what's-her-name, Reese?...are both being fired according to what I've heard.Good. The thing with Dillon and Mac's daughters just seems too juvenile for me.
I've always thought Elizabeth was a real sweetheart, and like Rebecca Herbst. Jax.....
NEVER liked him. I know all the women tend to fall all over him, but to me he's always been ,
as a longtime female friend of mine would say,"a macho jerk face". He has a humongous amount of money and looks like a male model, and he's a ruthless corporate raider who thinks his money allows him to do anything.Like flying to Ireland or Paris in his jet for lunch...BARF ! I've often wondered if part of the reason Tava was written out of GH was because Ingo left to be on that short lived
"Dynasty" rip-off, whatever it was called.
Courtney, never liked her. All peroxide and phony
hooters. For along time now, whenever I did tape it, I would forward scan through most of Jax and Courtney. I guess my favorite character on the show for awhile now has been Jason. Over the years I also liked Chloe, Lila, Luke and Laura,
the ORIGINAL Lucky and Ruby, the Scorpios,etc.
I thought John Ingle was a great Edward. It pisses me off the way they're always bringing people back from the dead. Life isn't like that.
Also, the way they tell so many of the women that they can't have kids, and all of a sudden they're pregnant. Way too much. It looks like that is about to happen to Courtney with either Jax or Nicholas. As far as Elizabeth goes, I've never enjoyed watching her with Greg Vaughn as Lucky. It seems really downer and negative. If they want to boost the show, and save Jax, maybe they should write a GENUINE Jax and Elizabeth story line. In fact, they should get SHANI to write it ! It'd really be romantic and down to Earth !
