Posted by Bessie on 1/9/2005, 21:22:23 The 16th annual Pittsburgh Indoor Outdoor Home Show commences Jan. 27 and runs through Jan.30 at the Pittsburgh ExpoMart in Monroeville. The home and garden showcase operates from 4-9:30 p.m. Thursday, noon-9:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults. Children ages 12 and under and parking are free. As part of the features of this year's show, designer Tava Smiley of TLC's "Clean Sweep" will be on hand Saturday, Jan. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. She will present a series of public seminars and autograph sessions. Returning to the show is True Value and its popular "Hot Buys" section, which features more than 3,000 square feet of the best deals on home improvement, domestic, holiday and garden supplies. Each year the True Value Hot Buys section offers patrons an array of items at unbelievable prices. Local news/talk radio giant KDKA-AM will be on site in full force with the KDKA Radio K-Zone where local radio celebrities will broadcast live from the show. They will also conduct games and give away prizes throughout the weekend. More than 300 vendors from the Tri-State area and around the country will provide on-site product demonstrations, build full-scale models of their work and supply knowledgeable representatives to answer questions about their business.
