PLEASE don't fall for any ads you see from this place on Craig's List or whatever. We pulled two precious old mares from this place last weekend, in horrendous condition, and evidently there are 14 more in very bad shape. A/C and the Inyo County Sheriff's Department are working on the case. I'm in touch with several other arab people in the area, and we're doing everything we can to get the horses help - but more help is desperately needed! A/C evidently doesn't have facilities for large animals, and these horses need knowledgeable caregivers who can manage their emaciated condition.
We have photos of at least some of the horses (and have both before and now photos of the two we've already been able to help). This is yet another example of folks who value everything OTHER than the horses.
Please let us know if you can offer any help - Gail is going to try to get more photos and information up on the website promptly.
