I just received the following email from Dorann:
I am a long time member of the Tier board.
I thought I would write to you as I have experienced a great tragedy and may need some help, and I thought you might have contacts.
On December 3rd a fire raged through Moorpark where I lived and not only burned down my 81 year old mothers house, but also burned down my house. We got out just with the clothes on our backs and our pets (I lost one of my pet birds as my hosue was on fire and they would not let me back in). I did not even get out with my purse as I was grabbing animals as fast as I could.
As a lot of people find out after the fact, my insurance is not as good as we would need. Rebuilding one house will be a struggle, but it is what we want to do. Since I take care of my mom full time (up to the fire) it will at least make that easier just having one home. Right now mom is living in Manhattan Beach with one of my sisters, but wants to "come home". My cats and birds are living in Northridge, CA. Most of my dogs are still at the ranch.
I used to be involved a long time ago getting horses out of Leonards. I still have Azh Naborr who I got out of there 12 years ago-he will be 33 soon. I have always had a commitment to the horses I have bred and have taken them back when they have become injured etc.
Finances are going to be very tight in the upcoming future, and I am thinking of trying to place some of my horses if that is possible. Even just placing five of them would be a huge help. So, if you can think of anyone or anyplace that might be able to take in a horse or two I would so appreciate any help or guidance.
(Azh Naborr is not in the group-he will stay with me no matter what)
Here is an article about the fire and below a video link that shows both my moms house burning and my house later.

The best e mail to get me is bonnfyrefarms@yahoo.com
I used this e mail as it is my Tier address and hoped you would "recognize" me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dorann
