Posted by Alcina Now it's time to start getting ready to have a little herd. I also found a pretty little blonde BelgianX who won't be someone's dinner. I have 2 adults, me and my sister in law..LOL they're moving with us, that's what you do when your sister offers you a few acres and a place to put a house, that will work with and ride quite a bit and 2 girls that will be glued to them and 3 boys who may become more interested in riding later. I'm going to need some Companion pasture eye candy too, unrideable, but can handle a little cold, gets along well with others and just wants to hang out and be a horse. I'm thinking by Sept we should have our horsey herd. 6 rideable or will be rideable and some old timers to round it our nicely. Hugs to all

Sorry to have been gone so long had things to work on with myself. Life has been a complete whirlwind.
I convinced my husband it was time to retire and live how and where we've dreamed of all our lives.
Monday our offer was accepted for a 65 acre ranch in Northeastern Washington. We're going to sell our home and move in in July.
I ended up getting Alex an "eye candy" horse, he's beyond gorgeous Warmblood, Holsteiner. He's boarded in Phelan. He's Fully tained and has competed in English events...I'm clueless about English.
Last week was my daughter's first time on his back. We gave him a bath and turned him back out into the round pen for a good roll. I didn't want him to be wet when the sun set.. to say he loved it is an understatement..teach him how to be a horse again.
I'm looking at a gorgeous Blue Percheron too, PMU colt, a little snip and he'll be just fine. I got a great big hubby he's going to need a great big horse
