If they have companion animals that were left behind, please have them contact the Best Friends hurricane@bestfriends.org (435)644-3965 Ext. 4455 We are compiling a list of animals in need to distribute to people on the ground rescuing stranded animals. Please ask them to include: Contact name: WOMEN & HORSES TIER SueAnn's surgical site requires aftercare which consists of applying healing ointments & changing her bandages every other day to include a rainbow of vet wrap colors! The skin graft & hair tansplant has done amazingly well. SueAnn now has curly hair covering the surgical site. Although she has healed well, there are still areas of her leg that do not grow hair due to past neglect and the subsequent scarring We had previously scheduled dental attention (float) for Moses, Panache, Garrett & possibly SueAnn. All current funds have been utilized for feed, surgeries, aftercare and to help pay the water bill (It has been a very hot summer & our residents are thirsty!) Donations toward dental care & Pepper's need for flushing of the tear Thank you all so much for your generosity and continued support of our efforts !! Link: Network for Good

As the world's only magazine devoted exclusively to horse women, their needs and interests, Women & Horses Magazine celebrates the special bond that I've seen so many women enjoy with their horses. http://www.women-horses.com/
Each year TIER continues to advance its mission of helping horses/donkeys in need. Contributions toward the continued care of the horses currently residing at our facility in Riverside,
California are needed. This year we have been able to help SueAnn & Pepper to receive much
needed medical care. Although the surgeries drastically depleted our emergency/reserve funds, we are very pleased with the successful
outcome!! Pepper will need one more procedure (flushing of the tear duct/nasal passage)which will be scheduled as soon as funds are available.

her legs for protection, and she wears her very own fly sheet from the Horse Clothesline, a fly mask with nose protection from Cashel & leggings also from the Horse Clothesline in Norco. She looks somewhat like Darth Vader!
