Just wanted to let everyone know, Summit went to a great home today. He went to the original family that was going to take him a little over a week ago. The evening before they were going to pick him up, one of their friends (in talking about Summit) told them that they had a horse they were looking for a home for. So, they adopted the other horse. We have kept in contact. I really, really liked them (you know when you get that gut feeling) I was sad but, they decided to take Summit too! He is living on their beautiful property and will have the Vet immediately start to work on the bowed tendon. After they do everything (including the blistering) they found a beautiful place with pasture to let Summit's bow heal. It took forever to load him. One of the men that feeds the horses helped us out. Just walked in the trailer and talked to him quietly. And magically, Summit went in. Hmmmmm, we had been doing that for and hour, almost two hours. I think Summit had our number lol. He figured we were wusses and took advantage of a good thing I guess. They left, we went to go and our newest car would not start. Thanks to the Man that feeds Lilly, we got a jump. What a long day. We left, went and got a present for our wonderful helper, came back, took Lilly out and gave her a bath and lots of TLC. Lilly is Very happy to see that Summit is gone. I cried, Lilly just soaked up the attention. I love that horse! So, we feel great, Summit is happy, Lilly is happy and Mandy is just happy to be home on her computer. Annie
