since you're still venting on a public board. I'm thinking you should be glad someone was willing to take in a horse you had no use for, by your own admission. Unfortunatley, things beyond our control do happen. I too get upset when I hear of the loss of a horse who has gone through my barn. But since I'm careful with who my horses go live, I never feel the need to accuse or search for blame in the death. If this was a kick then it was purely an accident. If this was an illness, it could be possible that it was chronic and present when you had the horse. There's no need to insinuate & point fingers, especially where people not involved don't need or want to be caught in the squabble.
