Posted by Alcina Some of the horses at TIER just touch my heart. I got to watch Shiloh run, and he took my breath away. Gem was amazing too...and Ruby she is just such a dignified looking girl. Then there's the big puppies, Belle and Maynard. Last Sat REK, Rachel, hi honey, worked with Garrett. I was just amazed he just captures my heart. Also Rachel spent some time with Alex and Mouse. This is just a blast for me. I love going to TIER each week. I'm not much help, but I'm good for some scratching...tee hee. We're going to go check out the Parelli method Sun, thanks again Sweetie. Alex is a little leary though. Harry told her why the knots were where they were on a rope halter. She didn't like the idea at all. Alex cleaned stalls all day Sat and kept reasking Gail "So how did I do?"...LOL "Excellent" wasn't enough. I think it's appropriate that each time we're there she should clean Mouse's area. So we're putting together timelines, but adopting Mouse is in play. Something came up too financially and well life is Grand. I have all the resources I need now to do what I wanted to to my property up here. Talked to a Financial Planner yesterday so I can do it on profits. I was blessed well. I've decided that every equine body at TIER needs to have their hooves done. I know Gail is going to try to keep this low dollar, but who at TIER really has to have their hooves balanced? I figured Mouse our filly, Garrett, Pilgrim, Slim, Sue Ann, Skyline Jet, Moses, Honey and Gem, there's one I can't think of the name..deformed right front ankle..I'm sure he'd feel better aligned. I'm doing this as a corporate donation from my company... How often should hooves be done? It's been more than a decade since I had my own and I just can't remember, but it's not something I want to do once and forget. Also I asked Gail's permission to do a fundraiser with the product I market. I can work it out so the commisions I get paid go directly to TIER. Check out my website and give me your opinion...DO NOT enroll yet. I need to set up the account as a fundraiser first. So my website is just to look at the membership and give me your opinion... If even only ONE person is interested it will go to TIER. Contact me off board for any questions. Hugs and warm horsey wishes to all.

Hi all,
Well I came on like gangbusters and then decided to let the BB be Alex's resource. So I'll just update once in awhile. Friday was a neat day. Harry came over and worked with Alex and Mouse for a couple hours. I tried to stay out of the way, but Gail pointed out I could use the training too. This is so different than the way I used to care for my horses...it's a whole new world to me. I learned a lot.
Oh and you should have seen Dotty staring at Jo Jo..oh it's her baby!
I told Alex we could look at Parelli and Lyons and whoever else, but the reason were hiring a trainer is so that we'll have a guide teaching us how to be the best friend Mouse ever had...and you know as well as I do..she's had some really awesome best friends.
Who am I missing? My thoughts are I can't do them all "balanced" but I should be sure to get the ones who would be in less pain balanced.
I want to set up some reoccuring money for TIER.
I don't know how Gail does it all and if this is a way to take some of that load off of her...well I'm game.
