With the sun out during the day and the nights cool (below 40º) the grass has a lot of sugar in it, which isn't good if you have an insulin resistant horse. I'm not saying she is insulin resistant, but IF she is, this could bring on laminitis. And with laminitis you can get abscesses. Good luck with her, I hope you find out what it is.
