Posted by Carolyn You have to realize, there are people who simply don't care about animals the way we do. I can't change that, I can only change how I react to it. I personally won't see the film or buy another Tim McGraw album. Here's something else: Notice none of the animal rights celebrity activists are stepping up to the plate...they only shoot off their mouths when someone wears a fur. That's because they don't dare bite the hand that feeds them. It's all about the money.

I worked on a civil war film where there were over 200 actors on horses. These guys are wanna be actors and start showing off so they can impress the director, thinking this will get them noticed and make them a star. Then there are the wranglers who are equally as stupid and say "yes" to whatever the director wants. A friend of mine used to teach "A" list actors how to ride for whatever movie they were shooting and when he would try to correct them, he was put in his place. On another production, he once stood up to a producer, siding for the horse, was fired on the spot and escorted off the lot.
