Posted by Razor We where hoping that by posting a Pic of the clips we have, that there may be a knowledgable fisherman over there in WA, who could give us an idea of either how this clip is attached to the line to prevent the bait fish swimming back to shore, or weather we have the right type of clip. Any helpfull replies would be greatly appreciated, we catch some big Mulloway over here at times, but find we have to quite often cast into ferociouse head winds.

Hello Guys,
We fish the far West Coast of South Australia, on the Eyre Peninsular, and also York Peninsular closer to Adelaide.
We have been trying to aquire live bait clips from WA after a post made at one of our forums on Live Bait clips.
We can not buy them here in SA, but some guys at Out Door Sports and liesure at Busselton sent me some by post. ( apparently they originate from South Africa)
We where looking at the type of bait clip that does not allow the fish attached to the bait clip to swim back to shore, apparently the clip resists this while making it easy for the bait fish to swim out to your sinker or where you positioned the stopper on your line.
We are not sure if we have the correct type of clip, and so far we cannot figure out how to configure the few clips we have, to a line to prevent this happening.
Our idea we want to try over here is to cast a sinker only trace into that wind to maximise distance, then send some live tommies down the line on bait clips, clips configured so the Tommies can only swim out wards towards the sinker.
Can anybody help us, I have attached an image of a Clip,
Thank you for your time
