Rod blanks & materials

Hi fellow club members, Can any of you help me. I am thinking about making my own purpose built surfcasting rod and i wondered if any of you more knoweledgable people know where to buy competatively priced, high quality rod building materials. In perticular, rod blanks. I am aiming to build a 14/16 ft light surfcasting rod for light beach work, capable of casting up to 100 gms. Any information would be appreciated.
