Andrew: Just been over to the AAA Nationals in Yamba that Terry was talking about. If you want the ultimate 2 ounce rod, then the Purglas 4000-C is it. I have had one and base by competition casting rod on it. It is the specially constructed "CARP ROD" that has been designed to cast 'burly cage' and bait out into those big lakes in Africa to catch "B I G " Carp. I can promise you that once you have tried one, you will want it.. If you cannot locate one on your local turf, then I suggest that you contact Allan CUNNINGHAM, CEO of Purglas on purglas@netactive.co.za He will be only too happy to help you out, especially if you mention that you were referred to him.
