With the Easter weather being so wonderful, it reminds me of when I arrived at JSTS, Stonecutters in May 1968 and within the week after a few drinks at lunchtime in Smiley's laid on the raft for a little sunbathing and woke up 3 hours later glowing like a red beacon. The other problem was it was now high tide and I had to swim back in a cold sea. Happy Easter to all.

Hello Tony. Just seen your message and recognised your name. You were on Stonecutters the same time as I was with my wife and baby. We landed on 1st January 1969 and lived at East View bungalows. Are you in contact with any of the crew who were there the same time as us ?

Hi Colin. I do remember you. To answer your query - I am not in contact with any of the lads who were at JSTS at that time. I did send a message to George Stephenson in Dec 2006 which in the thread below under "Xmas". Besides that I have had no other contacts.
I occasionally visit this site to see if there are any more new messages.
