Dear Mike, Thankyou for the welcome, my dad was Staff Sargeant Len Knightley, All together there were six kids, just like the Waltons. We were all good at sports, mainly swimming, I was Hongkongs School diving champion 2 years running and also TWIST CHAMPIONS with my brother Brian. We had the chance to dance with Chubby Checker but our Dad was not that impressed with him, so it was a no go.
I remember training to swim Hongkong Harbour by swimming from the riflerange round to Southshore jetty, I did not get far a Chinese police boat turned up, searchlight on wanting to know what we thought we were doing. The boat we used was washed up after a Typhoon, a small rowing boat with a big hole in it, we repaired it and painted it green and called it PIP after my little brother.
As far as photos go Mike my oldest brother has them and I have lost contact with him.Sorry.
I can remember all sorts of things we used to get up to, hope this waffle is not too boring Mike.
Regards Jean
