I seem to have come upon an identification problem concerning Eliezer Stoddard and Eleazer Stoddard. They appear from the research shown on this website as having married the same woman, but their fathers and general family background are different. Are they in fact related in some way? My information has Eliezer's father as Phineas Stoddard, the son of William Stoddard of Charlestown MA and seemingly related to Anthony Stoddard of Boston, who settled there in the late 1640's. I appreciate and thank all who may offer information that will clarify the identity of Eliezer Stoddard. Regards, Ngaire Nelson
