Hello,
I am looking for any information of Margret or Mary Mishaw, wife of John Stoddart. John was b ~1835 in Stainton near Barnard Castle England. John and Mary/Margret had children William b 1865, Richard b 1867, and Annie b 1869 all born in Huddersfield although some census records report otherwise.
William immigrated before 1889 to Ontario where he lived with his Uncle George Stoddart in Markdale. William later moved to Illinois. Annie came to Markdale in 1901 and in 1909 married Henry (Harry) Wilson. They lived in Durham Ontario. Richard lived in Durham City, County Durham England.
Any assistance on this family will be appreciated. If there are others researching the Stoddarts of Streatlam and Stainton I am interested in exchanging information.
