FamilySearch.com lists a different birthdate for Richard Mayo Stoddard from the one you listed. The old Genesee Road ran through the center of Vernon village and was the main road west to Genesee County. I think that the Ichabod Stoddard who was listed in the 1810 census of Batavia, New York, was the same Ichabod who was in the 1800 census of Westmoreland, New York. A Richard Mayo is listed in the 1790 census of Chatham, but I haven't found any listing there for Ichabod.
